Committee on the Environment (AIAri COTE)
AIAri COTE is a group of industry professionals with a common dedicated interest of minimizing the impact of our built environment on the environment.
AIAri COTE meets on the first Thursday of each month from 5:30-7:00pm at Everyman’s Bistro 311 Ironhorse Way Providence, Rhode Island 02908.
Join AIA Rhode Island’s Committee on the Environment to advance sustainability of the built environment and leave RI and the world better than how you found it.
Emerging Professionals Committee
Made up of interns, Associates, and recently licensed architects, the AIAri Emerging Professionals Committee is geared toward "newer" members of the profession. In addition to community activities, such as CANstruction®, leadership opportunities and various social/networking events, the committee sponsors AIAri's annual IDP Forum which focuses on issues specifically related to the profession's members at the earlier stages of their careers.
Government Affairs Committee
AIAri's Government Affairs Committee is an active group of architects that focuses on legislation, executive orders, and policies at the state and local level that affect the profession.
Historic Resources Committee Committee
The goal of the HRC is to serve the professional needs of the historic architect, as well as the public, in local advocacy and education for preservation. The AIAri HRC focuses on historic preservation with a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach to a wide-range of preservation and restoration related issues.
