Gather to celebrate the new year, recognize 2009 chapter leaders and acknowledge the best green projects in Rhode Island.

Keynote speaker: William Sisson, Director of Sustainability for United Technologies Corporation. UTC is a research facility and manufacturer of heating/cooling equipment, fuel cells and building systems. Since 2006, Bill has served as the co-chair for UTC in the World Business Council for Sustainable Development - Energy Efficiency in Buildings. Mr. Sisson will be presenting on the topic of "Transforming the Market for Energy Efficiency in Buildings - A Global Perspective”.


5PM-6PM - Special reception and tours for VIPs. A demonstration of the new virtual Green Market Place website is planned. Appetizers and libations will be served. 6:15PM - Welcoming Remarks - Chapter Chair and Hosts of FM Global 6:30PM - Multimedia Presentation of FM Global’s Headquarters 6:45PM - Keynote Speaker - Bill Sisson, UTC 7:45PM - Brief Annual Members’ Meeting with catered dinner, desert and coffee

Exam Prep – Green Associate Study Sessions
3 consecutive Wednesdays starting Feb. 3rd from 4:30pm-6:30pm
The basis of the course content is the material covered in the LEED Core Concepts and Strategies workshop or e-book (available online at the USGBC website). Supplemental materials will be provided; case studies included. For an explanation about what a LEED Green Associate or LEED AP is, visit www.usgbc.org or go to www.gbci.org regarding credentials and maintenance.
